Hirsch & Mann worked with DesignWorks to prototype a thrilling driving experience for Ford which uses heart rate monitors and skin sensors to track the driver’s emotions and map them onto their car.

These real time emotions get translated on the 188,000 LED bulbs and 110 daylight-bright strip lights on the outside of the vehicle. Reaching a peak of excitement behind the wheel will result in the lights flashing dynamically to reveal a thrill-seeking moment.

To achieve these sensational visual effects, Hirsch & Mann developed a generative graphics engine in order to map video graphics content to complex data in real time.
